About us

In 2008, Mae Boyer began to feel the call to become a pastor. Initially, she wrestled with God over the idea of leading a church. However, her compassion for people drove her to obey God's nudgings. She served for 10 years with various ministries including The Retreat House, Albany Rescue Mission and Hope House. Her work took her to jails and rehabs as she shared the love God had for broken people, especially women with trauma.

In 2010, Pastor Mae opened her own church, Restoration Hill Campus, and continued ministering to people who were struggling with trauma from their childhood. She had no idea that God was preparing her heart for his next call.

In March 2018, God gave Pastor Mae a dream of a yellow house shaking violently. In her dream, she ran into the house to find children sitting on the floor in grey hoodies, with their heads down. She called for them to follow her to safety. As she reached the threshold, she heard God say, "Go get the kids!"

Mae was inspired to send a van into Albany to bring youth to her church in Slingerlands. There she noticed that the kids connected with the outdoors. She began to envision a ministry that allowed kids and teens to connect with God by connecting to nature and animals. She has had several moves towards this vision and is excited now to have all the pieces and parts together here at 111 Pickard Rd in Voorheesville.

Pastor Mae is surrounded by her amazing husband Pat, her sister Amanda, and the rest of her biological and church family as she gets this youth ranch up and running. She looks forward to seeing how God will move here in 2024.
